Luke’s Isagenix Challenge Day 8:
Day 7 and I decided to reward myself/change things a little and just see how it went.
For breakfast…..cereal! 1 bowl of bran flakes with skim milk, it was nice, but not as rewarding as I had hoped. Didnt run today, because of yesterday’s tiredness, decided to give my legs a rest.
Had my first shake, this time blended with mango’s around 1100, Dr Lam was feeling happy about the current developments at FITS and so took me out for a quick business lunch of Pho. Trying to stick to the plan (and not likeing soup as previously mentioned) I had Vietnamese sausage, with prawn(shrimp) dumplings and rice noodles, I even resisted the urge to juice or a coke with lunch.
Back to work and then used a break in my schedule to do some cleans, lat pulls, inverted and bent over rows and some jumping. Alas, my legs felt slow, and although I was able to clean better than previously, I didnt have any explosion in my jumps and so could only manage one jump at 25.1 inches and quite a few in the 24′s. I’ll see on Saturday when I’m back at FITS whether a different lunch changes how I’m feeling, but for now I’ll just say it was one of those days.
Afternoon snack shake with extra protein for post workout followed, then lots of water during the last work stint, and finally home for pork and vegetables.
Moving along well, see how things go tomorrow.
