Mulligan Technique

This approach addresses specific movement anomalies that are often a major component of many neuromusculoskeletal complaints. By first performing specific tests to determine what tissues and joints are affected, the therapist then knows where and how to apply a specific force that helps to reduce pain while taking the patient through a specific movement. Essentially, through the repeated specific application of this force, the therapist can often times take the pain away! Self-mobilization techniques can then be prescribed to the patient to help speed recovery. Supportive injury specific taping techniques are also often times involved with the mobilization with movement technique.
